Easy 2 ingredient homemade pasta

You’ll need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1.75 cups of flour

Note: I only made my homemade pasta for 3 people, so my portions are a little smaller. Double the recipe if need be!

First, make a pile out of your flour.

Next, add your eggs.

After this, you will try to mix it with your hands. This is what I read on so many websites. However, this was the part where I decided to just mix it in the KitchenAid. Don’t tell anyone I did that! 😉

So, once you have it mixed, put your dough on a surface with flour. It will resemble a Chipotle burrito.

Roll out your dough both horizontally and vertically.

Use a pizza roller to create your pasta noodles. They will puff up while cooking, so plan accordingly.

When I finished, I went through and made sure they were separated so cooking would be easy.

Pour your noodles into boiling water (use a lot of salt in the water). These bad boys boil FAST—so watch out!

Drain your noodles. Garnish or top with whatever you want; I used olive oil!

How to Get Coconut Oil Out of Hair

So, when I’m not cracking up some eggciting new recipes in the kitchen, I am experimenting with my hair. From egg yolk yellow with albumen highlights to peppers n’ eggs brunette, I’ve been it all. My latest is a coconut oil treatment. I heat it up, put a sparing amount on my hair, massage it in for ten minutes (I do inversion therapy for hair growth), throw a shower cap on, and rinse out after 45 minutes.

The only problem is that coconut oil is a beast to get out! I searched relentlessly for how to wash coconut oil out of hair, but none of it worked the way I wanted it to. So, I made a mixture of pretty much every tutorial I tried.

Have you ever tried to figure out how to remove coconut oil from hair? This simple recipe using an egg can help!To remove coconut oil from hair, you’ll need:

  • An egg (obviously!)
  • Clarifying shampoo
  • Dry shampoo
  • A bowl for mixing

First, you need to spray your hair with more dry shampoo than you can imagine. When you think you’ve sprayed enough, you need to spray more. After, I sprayed my brush with dry shampoo and brushed it through to detangle. This soaks up the coconut oil.

After this, you’ll need to separate an egg. Put the yolk on one bowl. Save the whites to make an easy face mask! The egg white is a cheap way to shrink your pores. Massage the yolk into your scalp. This will give your hair vitamins and also promote growth, while working to get coconut oil off your scalp.

Wash the egg out and massage clarifying shampoo into your hair. I use Shimmering Lights by Clairol. It’s very cheap from your local drugstore and AMAZING quality. Massage it into a lather and leave it on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse this out very well.

That’s all there is to it! It’s worked well for me to get the coconut oil out of my hair! The coconut oil left my hair greasy, but when I did the coconut mask and this treatment, my hair was so smooth and shiny!
